Saints in the Making, our monthly saint segment here on FaithWorks. We'll dive into the lives of saints who inspire us to live with purpose, faith, and love. Each month, we’ll highlight saints whose feast days fall within the month, exploring their incredible stories, virtues, and the lessons they offer for our own lives.

This month, we’re turning our attention to three powerful witnesses in the life of the Church — St. Ambrose, St. John of the Cross, and the celebration of the Holy Family — all of whom we honor in December. From the bold preaching and steady leadership of St. Ambrose, to the mystical depth and profound spiritual insight of St. John of the Cross, and the radiant witness of love within the Feast of the Holy Family, each of these celebrations reveals a distinct facet of what it means to live a life rooted in Christ. They show us that holiness is born in courage, forged in prayer, and lived out in the ordinary rhythms of family and community.
